January sparkle by the Falls

The bathroom felt like a little spa alcove — bright mirrors, hot water that arrived eager, towels stacked like a welcome gift. I lingered longer than I meant to, steam fogging the glass while the Falls waited outside.

Small honest annoyance: the elevators. Families, luggage, excitement — daytime waits are real. Not a deal-breaker, just a breath-and-smile moment between floors.

Staff moment I keep replaying: a desk agent who noticed my damp coat, laughed with me about the mist, and pointed me toward the warmest route back upstairs without making it a speech. Tiny. Perfect.

Was the stay worth it? In the holiday sense — absolutely. The energy, the convenience, the way the room framed the night lights… it felt like a celebration even on a quiet January weekday.

The room: wide glass, a bed I sank into like a sigh, and a view that kept pulling me to the window. First thing I noticed was the light bouncing off the mist. Second was how far the quiet went once the door shut.

Better than expected: how walkable everything felt. Shopping and dining attached, the Falls an easy stroll — I barely thought about getting in a car.

Checkout was brisk and friendly. Last impression on the way out: the lobby still glittering, someone laughing near the doors, and me already drafting who I would send here next.
